Privacy-conscious website

RuntimeDock is a statically delivered website. It has no user accounts, comments, or embedded social networks. Cloudflare Web Analytics is the only service used for privacy-conscious audience and performance measurement. Advertising and profiling services are not used. Technically necessary access data is also processed when pages are requested, and information you send is processed when you contact us by email.

Cloudflare Pages

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare's global network. Data processed may include your IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and device information, HTTP status data, and security data. This is necessary to deliver the website, prevent attacks and abuse, and maintain reliable operation.

Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, fast, and reliable operation of the website. RuntimeDock does not maintain any separate visitor or server logs. Retention is determined by technical and security necessity and the provider's legal obligations.

Where data is transferred to the United States, Cloudflare relies on its certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; where necessary, EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards are used. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

Anonymous audience and performance measurement

RuntimeDock uses Cloudflare Web Analytics with an automatically injected JavaScript beacon. It records aggregate page views and technical performance metrics, such as the requested hostname and path, referrer, country, browser, operating system, device type, loading times, and Core Web Vitals. URL query parameters are not logged.

According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics uses no cookies or Local Storage entries, creates no individual fingerprints, and does not track visitors across different websites. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect visitors' personal data. With automatic setup, metrics are transmitted through RuntimeDock's /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint.

To the extent that personal data is nevertheless processed during technical transmission, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is privacy-conscious measurement of website use and technical improvement. According to Cloudflare, unsampled beacon data is retained for seven days and then aggregated; analytics remain available in the dashboard for the previous six months. Cloudflare Web Analytics

Contact by email

Messages sent to contact@runtimedock.de are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Proton Mail inbox. The sender and recipient addresses, time and technical metadata, and the contents of your message are processed. The data is used solely to handle and answer your request.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest being the handling of incoming requests. If the request concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies. Messages are deleted once they are no longer required to process the request, unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons relating to legal claims require longer storage.

Color scheme

Your selected color scheme is stored in your browser's Local Storage under the key runtime-dock-theme. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to RuntimeDock. It is necessary to preserve your choice on later visits. The legal basis for storage is Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can delete the entry at any time through your browser's site-data settings.

RuntimeDock does not use analytics or marketing cookies that require consent. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security mechanisms where required to protect the website.

GitHub, Ko-fi, and external links

Download buttons, the optional support link, and some source links lead to external websites, particularly GitHub and Ko-fi. Your browser connects to the relevant provider only after you open such a link. Data such as your IP address, browser information, time, and the previously visited page may then be transmitted. The respective external provider is responsible for further processing. External content and payment functions are not automatically embedded in RuntimeDock.

Disclosure of data

Personal data is disclosed only to the technical service providers named above where necessary for hosting, security, or email communication, or where required by law. Personal data is not sold.

Data subject rights

Under the GDPR, and where the applicable requirements are met, you have in particular the following rights:

• Restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. No profiling

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.
